The 7th annual Howard County Bowl is scheduled for Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Memorial Stadium in Big Spring. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM. This highly anticipated football game between rivals Coahoma and Forsan raises money to provide scholarships to students who participate in the game, whether it be a football player, trainer, band member, or cheerleader. The money for the scholarships is raised through t-shirts and ticket sales for the game, as well as donations by local businesses and organizations.
Gates open at 6:30 PM. Band Big Spring will also begin performing at that time. Kickoff is at 7:30 PM, and Mark McKinney will perform at the half-time show.
There’s still time to pick up your discounted tickets in advance. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for students, or $8 for everyone at the gate. Be advised that face masks are required to enter the stadium, groups are limited to no more than 10 people.
