As Forsan High School gets ready for a new school year, they also welcome additions to their coaching staff.
Janet Shelton joins the Forsan Buffs as the head Cross Country Coach. This will be her 5th year coaching, but her 22nd year in teaching. She told KBest News that she’s spent most of her time as an assistant Cross Country coach to her husband, Jeff, and spent 1 year as a Head Girls Track Coach for a year at Rankin ISD.
Shelton told KBest News that while with Ozona they were able to take a few athletes to the State competition in the last couple of years. This year, she’s looking forward to heading to State with the Forsan Buffs.
Shelton says that she and her husband are excited to begin their new adventure with Forsan ISD.
