The Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce joined the Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center for a ribbon-cutting yesterday afternoon to celebrate its 60th anniversary.
“Sixty years is an amazing accomplishment for any business! So, we’re super excited but, of course, we wouldn’t be here without the support of the community for all these years," said Michelle Grove, Executive Director of DRRC.
"We’ve had the honor of treating thousands of clients over the years, and we’ve had numerous volunteer board members and trustees that have gotten us to where we are, as well as financial support from the community and various agencies and foundations over the years.”
The Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center is a non-profit organization, which means that they don’t turn anyone away for their inability to pay. So if anybody is needing physical therapy services, DRRC is able and happy to provide treatment for them.
Dora Roberts Rehabilitation Center is located at 306 W. 3rd St. in Big Spring. They can be contacted by calling (432) 267-3806.
