The Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt has been cancelled.
First Church of the Nazarene in Big Spring, also known as NazFamily Church, recently announced that their Community-Wide Easter Egg Hunt will be postponed until Saturday, April 10th.
Pastor Richard Schneberger told KBest News that their church has offered the event as a gift to the community for several years.
"We want to provide something fun, family-friendly for everybody in the community to come be a part of," said Pastor Richard.
Registration will begin at 9 AM and the event will begin at 10 AM. According to Pastor Richard, there will be approximately 15,000 to 20,000 eggs available for the event and the egg hunts will be divided by age groups.
There will also be music, door prizes, hot dogs, and more.
"We want a lot of kids, and lot of families to come out. We'll have games, a bounce house, activities, a coloring contest, art contest, door prizes, just all kinds of stuff for the whole family," said Pastor Richard.
Again, the NazFamily Community Wide Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 10th, at NazFamily Church, located at 1400 S. Lancaster in Big Spring. Registration begins at 9 AM.
