The "Taste of Big Spring - Chamber Extravaganza" is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7, from 5:30 – 8 PM, at the Howard County Fair Barn. Chamber members can set up booths to promote themselves to attendees for $250 per booth that comes with 2 tickets for the event. There will also be food, door prizes, and music during the event, along with the presentation of the Russ McEwen Community Award, 5 Under 55 honorees, and the announcement of Man and Woman of the Year.

The Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce runs on fundraisers and memberships dues. In order to help the local organization generate more revenue to upgrade their software and website, sponsorship opportunities have been made available for this year’s annual networking event.

"We have presenting sponsors, event sponsor, a supporting sponsor, as well as friend sponsor and taste sponsor. There are different levels and you get different incentives when you are a sponsor," said Debbye Valverde, Executive Director for the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce.

Presenting sponsor for this year's evenet is $10,000. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, contact Debbye at (432) 263-7641.

Tickets for "Taste of Big Spring – Chamber Extravaganza" are on sale now for $30 each. Tickets can be purchased at the Big Spring Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 215 W. 3rd St. in Big Spring.
