From Big Spring Police Department 5/3/19:


On the 2nd of May 2019 at approximately 10:34 P.M., Big Spring Police Department Officers responded to the 1700 block of S. Scurry in reference to a gunshot victim. Upon arrival it was found a 34 year old White/Male had been shot in the upper torso. The Criminal Investigations Division was notified to respond. The victim was transported to Scenic Mountain Medical Center for treatment and was later transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. The victim is expected to survive his injuries.


After further investigation, Detectives submitted a Probable Cause Affidavit to a magistrate and a warrant was issued for Quincy Lamar Henry, Black/Male 30 years of age for the offense of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon a Felony 2 offense.


This is an ongoing investigation and there is no further information available at this time.
