The 7th grade A team fell short to Snyder in 3 sets. The first set was was close with our Lady Steers defeating the Lady Tigers (26-24). The second and third sets weren’t in our favor (20-25 and 10-15), but  the team worked as a unit to make key plays. Kendall Brooks, Julianna Fraser,  and Delaney Moreno played well on offense. Defense was led by Miranda Gomez, Brooklyn Hyatt, and Karissa Gonzales.

7th Grade B fell to Snyder in 2 sets (5-25, 15-25). Standout players on defense were Addison Rubio and Destiny Hodnett. Standout players on offense were Lauren Bryans and Kylee Haynie. Girls worked hard and continue to do their best!

8th Grade A Lady Steers fell to the Snyder Tigers in 2 sets. We had some great net play though led by Jalen Sykes, Marlie Kennedy, and Katelyn Haynie. Taylor Partlow and Kortney Moore led out of offense from around the floor. Defensively Monica Gutierrez and Alyson Castaneda worked the back row.

8th grade B fell to Snyder in three sets. Our Lady Steers won the first set (25-20). We fell in the next two sets (25-16, & 25-16).  Our stand-out players were Kaydence Canales, Elaina Arrendondo, Mia Bustamante and Daniah Wrighter with serving aces and J’oncye, Daniah and Elaina with kills at the net. Valerie Hernandez, Mia Bustamante and Kaydence Canales played strong defense.
