The Big Spring City Council will be meeting in a regular session tomorrow evening at 5:30 PM in the City Council Chambers, located at 307 E. 4th St. in Big Spring.
The agenda shows that there will be presentations by the Northside Movement’s contribution of Comfort Bears to the Big Spring Police Department and Howard County Sheriff’s Office, and the creation of an official mobile app for the City of Big Spring.
There will also be public hearings on zone changes from Light Industrial to Single-Family 3 at 201 NE 3rd St., and from Light Industrial to General Residential at 200 N. Nolan St.
City Manager Todd Darden will also be giving project updates on several items including house bills concerning tax abatement guidelines, cyber security, and Ports-to-Plains. He’ll also be speaking on the emergency sewer line repair, and water line breaks and repairs, and phase II of the Big Sandy Draw Landfill.
