Marquez and Thomason both climbed up one of the inflatable slides for an inaugural slide in to summer fun! When asked how it felt to have the City of Big Spring partner with the YMCA for the inflatable water slide park, Mayor Thomason told KBest News that he was ecstatic about it.

“Everybody is disappointed that the [Russ McEwen] Aquatic Center wasn’t able to open this year because of the accident, and I’m just tickled to death that we were able to work with the Y and get this alternative set up,” said Thomason.

The water slide park is open Monday through Friday, entry cost is $4 per person and that includes access to the pool during specified hours. The water slide park will be open through the end of the summer.
