The Big Spring Center for Skilled Care will be hosting the Bringing Back Memories Car Show tomorrow, June 8th, outside of their facility located at 3701 Wasson Road, from 10 AM - 4 PM.
There will also be door prizes and plaques to be given away for participants.
"We're giving prizes and taking pictures," said Michelle Rodriguez, Activity Director for the Big Spring Center for Skilled Care. "What we want to do is bring back memories."
Rodriguez advised that they'll have recent high school graduates at the event working as volunteers to take Polaroid photos of people with the cars to capture that moment.
In addition to the car show, ALSA will be cooking hot dogs and hosting a washer tournament at the event. There will be prizes given for 1st – 3rd place, and the entry fee is $20 per team. Half of the money raised the tournament will be donated to ALSA’s choice of charity. The washer tournament begins at 11 am.
Be advised there will also be a Memorial Tree planting in honor of Paul Ramirez at 2 PM with his family and the ALSA car club.
