Several Big Spring and Howard County residents will finally be able to display their acting skills on the movie screen early this year.
The first will be the free screening of Carnage Radio, a short film by Big Spring filmmakers James Fite and Brandon Johnson. The film will be shown at the Big Spring Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, Feb. 2nd at 7 PM. After the film there will be a Q&A session with the cast and crew along with an after party. The runtime for the film is 30 minutes. Be advised that seating is limited and there will only be available for the first 1200 guests.
Also debuting in February is the Iron Orchard, the movie that was filmed in Big Spring. The film is about a young man thrust into the vibrant and brutal West Texas oilfields circa 1939 who works his way through the ranks to ultimately become a formidable wildcatter. The Iron Orchard is set to premier Feb. 22nd in select theaters in the Midland-Odessa and Dallas-Ft. Worth areas.
