Forsan ISD and the Texas Association of School Boards recently recognized a local business for their support of FISD and public education. The recognition took place at the June 11, 2018 board meeting.
Ceram-Kote Coating, Inc has consistently supported Forsan ISD. The most public show of support has been in our tennis program. They have provided t-shirts, brought travel trailers to events and run concession stands among many other activities of support. Their work has spanned several years and they have proved to be a friend to Forsan ISD in many and consistent ways.
Here at Forsan ISD, we know the value of the help we have received from the Freeman family and Ceram-Kote Coatings, Inc., and we are deeply appreciative of this partnership. We are pleased to announce that the generosity they have shown is now recognized at the state level. The Texas Association of School Boards has joined Forsan ISD in recognizing their support for our schools.
Ceram-Kote was recently represented by Kevin and Karen Freeman and they were presented a recognition packet which included a letter of thanks, a certificate honoring them, and other materials about Texas public schools. Included was a window decal and a countertop sign that Forsan ISD hopes will encouraging others to follow their lead to Stand Up for Texas Public Schools.
The picture shows Board President Lewis Boeker presenting the packet to the Freemans. They are surrounded by Forsan ISD school board members and superintendent.
