Yesterday evening, Hangar 25 Air Museum awarded Guy Griffith with the prestigious Veteran of the Month Award. He gave a presentation detailing his various missions each of which occured in different locations all over the world. Griffith shared his thanks to the Hangar for honoring his service.
The presentation covered the issues or, “teething problems” with each of the early jets he flew during his time serving and Griffith also shared personal stories of his experience with each jet. The ceremony was concluded with the presentation of several keepsakes for the veteran. They included a placard detailing his time served, an American flag that once flew at the capitol given to Griffith, and a handmade sign stating his name and the years he served.
