Big Spring Community Easter Egg hunts will take place on Saturday, March 31st. The NazFamily Church will host four separate egg hunts at four locations this year from 10 AM to noon. The event will be the same as last year, but will be broken up into a smaller safer setting for families.

The four locations are ABC Park, Birdwell Park-located behind the YMCA, Old Settlers at Comanche Trail Park, and New Hope Christian School – located at 118 Cedar Road. Each location will have approximately 10,000 eggs. The hunts are FREE to the public and will be open for ages 1-12. This event will also include hotdogs, bounce houses, face tattoos or painting, plus pictures with the Easter Bunny, as well as drawings for prizes at each location for various prizes that could include bikes, toys, baskets, etc.).

If you were looking for an event that has a limited number of participants, you can check out the Easter Family Fun Event hosted Parkplace Retierment Living, located at 501 W. 17th Street that will take place from 9-10 AM and again from 10-11 AM. This event includes egg decorating, a numbered egg hunt, a photo opportunity with the bunny, and refreshments.

To participate in this event, you must reserve your spot in advance by calling 267-1353 and advise which time you’d like to participate with and how many children will be attending. It should be noted that there is a limit of 25 children for each time spot.
